Fusion 360 rendering
Below is the render of the initials model. This is a combination of two different colour and material combinations. These are also placed within different environments within the type of lighting and reflections ( if a reflective surface is used ).
Model. 1
This model is based around matte and minimalistic finish. The model allows for the shape and dynamics of the model to be realised in a small amount of time without casting confusion upon the viewer. The colour combination also provides a more modern look. These provide the shape with a sense of dimension and further outline the properties of the shape. This creates a more premium look and more eye-catching curves.
- Beige plastic
- Carbon fibre
Model. 2
This model has a metallic and reflective surface within the model. The usage of reflective materials provides a polar opposite approach to the matte finish providing design flexibility and adaptability. Providing a different style of the design will allow for new views and surfaces of the design to become more prominent. The design is also set within a skatepark environment, this is based on personal passions and hobbies as inspiration.
- Brass hexagonal mesh
- Titanium ( polished )
Photoshop render
Using a model created in past weeks a render had to be made to put a created model into a real-life scene and feature real-life materials. This is using the application of skills learnt in weeks 1 - 4 as well as personal photoshop experience. The first step was to create a .PNG file with a transparent background, seen below.
The next was to render, the first render is using a stone brick wall. This was done using perspective warp and matching colours to allow a DOF ( depth of field ) to be established.
The second render is using a clad wooden wall. This was done using perspective warp and matching colours to allow a DOF ( depth of field ) to be established.
The model was then rendered into a location, this is rendered into a snow environment. This features similar shadow and a narrow colour pallet allowing the editing to be made as optimal as possible.
The final material render was then made within the snow environment, this is marble and features similar contrast to the surrounding environment. This blends the material into the environment as well as outline the differences in contrast in shadows.
The second render in a different environment was made and features the wood-clad texture with a modern grey flooring. This is set in the Utah desert and the materials are designed to fit within the environment.
